In August of 2006, Carson Stewart and Joshua Claybourn set out on a journey to see and experience some of what eastern Africa has to offer. After departing from New York we first traveled to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a brief stopover. From there we flew to Tanzania, and then the real adventure began as we spent roughly a week climbing to the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Thereafter we spent five days on safari at various parks in the north. Finally, we ended the trip with a relaxing week on the shores of Zanzibar.
